Donald Nemecek Obituary
Donald W. Nemecek passed away on Thursday, February 24, 2022 in Slidell, LA at the age of 88. He was born in Chicago, IL and lived in Slidell, LA for most of his life.
Donald served in the United States Army from 1953 – 1956 in the 11th Airborne Division. He received the National Defense Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal, and Parachutist Badge. He was an avid bowler, golfer, and lifetime Chicago Cubs fan.
Loving husband of Charlotte Nemecek for 67 years. Son of the late William Nemecek and the late Georgianna Nemecek. Devoted father of Patricia Brignac (Ronald), Jacqueline Williams, Donald Nemecek, Jr., and David Nemecek. Brother of William R. Nemecek. Grandfather of Steven Nemecek, Victoria Brignac, T. Scott Williams (Melanie), Rachel Nemecek, Kelly Roach (Carl), and Devin Williams. Great Grandfather of Charlotte P. Williams and Tucker Powell.
