Christi Lynn Segari

Christi Lynn Segari was carried on the wings of angels to her heavenly home on Wednesday, August 19, 2020 from Covington, Louisiana. She was 48 years young. Christi was born in Memphis, Tennessee, and moved to Louisiana, at age 2. She lived in Covington, LA for the last 28 years. Christi was always seeking to help the less fortunate, human and animal. She started and headed support groups for Crohn’s disease and fibromyalgia. Helping others impacted by these illnesses was something she held close to her heart. Before being diagnosed with Crohn’s, she worked as an Ophthalmologist’s assistant. Christi so loved her son, Blake, who was the light of her life. Spending time with her son, was one of her greatest joys. Although Christi’s will and determination stretched to the moon, it was not to be; God had other plans for her. Her spunky, fun-loving personality and infectious laughter will be missed by all who knew her. Had her fight with cancer not been so brief, her mission would have been to find a way to support others with this dreadful disease. Christi was the beloved wife of Louis “Lou” Segari for 23 years. Loving mother of Blake Segari. Daughter of Eithel Tway and the late Lawrence Tway. Sister of Lori Cantelli (David) and the late Mike Tway. Christi was a loving aunt to 5 nieces, 4 nephews, and 2 great nephews, who all held a special place in her heart.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Memorial Service at Serenity Funeral Home, 20419 HWY 36, Covington, LA, 70433, on Saturday, September 5th, 2020.
