Charles Buras Obituary

Charles Anthony “Kye” Buras was born in 1976 in New Orleans, LA, and passed away on Sunday, June 7, 2020 in Violet, LA at the age of 43. He was a lifelong resident of St. Bernard Parish. Charles was the beloved son of Alice Faye Buras. He is the brother of Clyde, Jr. (Angie), Angela (James) Hastings, and Tina Buras. He was also the uncle of Emily, Madelyn, Ashley, Nicky, Colby, Allie, and Cayden. He is preceded in death by his father Clyde Buras, his brother Mark Buras, and his grandparents Edward Tucker, Arlie B. Smith, Lucille Cranford, and Sydney Buras. Anthony “Kye” loved working outdoors, helping friends or neighbors in need, especially to build things, and playing video games. He loved his sweet puppy Abby. Anthony loved his family, especially his mother Faye Buras. He always tried to make sure things were taken care of for her. They had a very special bond and she will forever miss his presence.
