Carolyn “Carol” Ruth Attaway passed away at her home on Tuesday morning, October 24, 2017., at the age of 55. She was born in New Orleans, LA., lived in Metairie for many years, for the last 18 years she resided in Slidell, LA. Carol loved gardening, flowers, and painting, she also loved to cook, most of all she loved people and connected with everyone in her business. Carol worked over 20 years with Dave Brenan insurance company. \r\nLoving wife of Jonathan Michael Attaway for almost 20 years.\r\nDevoted mother of Daniel Paul McCarthy and Whitley Elizabeth Attaway.\r\nDaughter of the late Patricia Ruth Sampson Cameron.\r\nSister of one Brother the late Robert Cameron.\r\nGrandmother of Bennett Paul McCarthy.\r\n
