Blanche Laurent Obituary

Blanche M. Laurent passed away on Tuesday, September 14, 2021 in Lacombe, LA at the age of 75. She was born in New Orleans and lived in Lacombe most of her life. Blanche enjoyed attending Saturday Mass at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, watching the New Orleans Saints with family and friends, and playing cards. Loving wife of the late Joseph Laurent, Sr. for 42 years. Daughter of the late Florence and Sidney Rillieux. Devoted mother of Samantha Laurent, Darrin Laurent, Shelia Bell, Trine Toussaint, and Joesph Laurent, Jr. Sister of Delores Turner, Sidney Rillieux, Jr., Lolita Ordogne, Joy Smith, Lettie Owens, and the late Bruce Rillieux. Grandmother of Larry Laurent, Angelica Laurent, Domonique Laurent, Brandon Laurent, Jasmine Laurent, Kayla Toussaint, Taylor Ladner, Tavirus Laurent, Tierney Laurent, and Kylin Toussaint. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, 28088 Main St., Lacombe, LA 70445 on Thursday, September 23, 2021. Visitation begins at 9:00 AM and Mass begins at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations to Children’s Hospital, https://www.chnola.org/chnola-giving/
