Bertrand John Ducuing II “Bert”, age 73, passed away at his residence in Mandeville on Saturday night October 27, 2018, of natural causes. For 40 years he resided in Jefferson, LA and was a Navy Veteran of the Vietnam era. He was a marksman in both rifle and pistol. Bert was a proud patriot and a defender of our freedom. He enjoyed teaching his children about God and sharing his knowledge with them. He was a talented craftsman and machinist who loved to fabricate things out of steel and was meticulous to detail. Bert was a wealth of information, if you needed to know something or have something done he was the person to call. Bertrand was a loving father to Bertrand J. Ducuing III (Rhonda) and April Ducuing. Brother of James Ducuing “Jimmy” and Joan Good and Grandfather of John Fitzpatrick. He is preceded in in death by one sister Janet Widman. His final resting place will be the Southeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery in Slidell. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the National Rifle Association and vote for Trump.
