Bert Bickham Obituary

Bert Abner Bickham passed away at St. Tammany Parish Hospital on Saturday afternoon, April 8, 2017, at the age of 90. He was born in Franklinton, Louisiana and resided in Covington for most of his life. Bert was a World War II Veteran for the United States Navy and a lifelong member and volunteer of the American Legion Post 16 on 190 Bypass. He also enjoyed to fish and volunteering at the Food Bank in Covington. He was the loving husband of the late Juanita Elizabeth Bickham for 52 years. Father of Connie A. Ponthieux, her husband Nick, Ronald â€œRonnieâ€ G. Bickham, and the late Gary Bickham. Brother of the late Wayne, Naomi and Gladys.
