August G Patecek

August Gustav Patecek Jr. passed away in Covington on Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at the age of 86. He was the son of the late Alvina Mary Noe Patecek and the late August Gustav Patecek Sr. He was the brother of the late Zeno Alvin Patecek. August did not marry. He is survived by his niece Angela Marie Patecek and his nephew Paul Michael Patecek.\r\nAugust was a native of Covington Louisiana and spent much of his early life in the family business of making and repairing shoes. The business was started by his late father and continued by him and his late brother. August served in the Army of the United States from 1951 to 1953 and received an honorable discharge with the rank of Corporal.\r\n
