Andre Sebastian Dominick

Andre Sebastian Dominick passed away on Friday, November 12, 2021 at the age of 61. He was born in New Orleans, LA and lived in Arabi for most of his life. He was a Captain with the St. Bernard Parish Sheriff’s Office for over 25 years. Andre was an amazing father, and one of the most kindhearted people anyone would meet. He would give the shirt off his back and would move heaven and earth if he could help someone in need. He loved his cats more than anyone. He was a lifelong Saints fan and enjoyed going to the games with his wife. Husband of the late Danette Fos Dominick for 31 years. They were together for over 40 years, since they were very young teenagers. Son of the late Leo Bernard Dominick and Ella Abony Dominick. Devoted father of Kayla Dominick-Thorne and her husband Matthew Thorne. He was also father to many more “adopted” children. Brother of Patricia “Patty” Dominick, and the late Charles Dominick. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church, 2320 Paris Road, Chalmette, LA 70043 on Thursday, November 18, 2021 at 12:00 Noon. Visitation begins at 10:00 AM. Interment will immediately follow at St. Bernard Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Chalmette, LA.
