Allana Claire Cuny Mouret

Allana Claire Cuny Mouret of Mandeville, LA passed away on Thursday, December 24, 2020 from cancer at her home. Beloved wife of the late Pat Mouret. She was born in 1953 in New Orleans, LA to the late Francis A. and Margaret M. Cuny; beloved mother to Kenneth Payne and Margaret Oser and her husband Micah; devoted “Maw Maw” of Jacob and Lucas Oser; loving sister of Randy Cuny and his wife Lori, Christopher Cuny and his wife Ligia, Michael Cuny and his wife Rosa, Mark Cuny and his late wife Tina, and Stephanie LaFosse and her husband David. Also survived by 60 nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Allana was a Pre-school Day Care provider and much more at Our Lady of The Lake Catholic School of Mandeville, LA for over 20 years; she truly enjoyed her job and cherished her fellow coworkers. She was involved with the Chateau Estates Lions Club for many years while living in Kenner, LA. Allana was cherished by her many friends and family, and adored by the numerous children she taught and cared for. Remembered as kind and loving, she was a firecracker who loved fiercely and treasured the people in her life. She will be dearly missed. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass at Our Lady of The Lake Catholic Church, 312 Lafitte St, Mandeville, LA, on Saturday, January 2, 2021 beginning at 12:oo Noon, with gathering beginning at 11:00 AM.
