Albert Raymond LaBauve

Albert Raymond LaBauve, Sr. passed away at his home on Saturday, February 6, 2021 at the age of 78. His final days were spent surrounded by family and friends. Albert was a native of St. Bernard, LA and a resident of Ponchatoula, LA. Loving husband to his wife Sharon Zeairs LaBauve. Devoted father of Albert “Bubby” LaBauve, II (Heather), Shelly LaBauve Kattengell, and the late Desiree LaBauve. Grandfather to Cody LaBauve, Connor Kattengell, Cohen LaBauve, Cade Kattengell, and Mollie LaBauve. He is the son of the late Winfred LaBauve and Louise Perrot. Brother of the late Rita Triplett, Madeline Besson, Mary Louise LaBauve, Ralph LaBauve, Sr., Wilfred LaBauve, Louis LaBauve, Winnie Helffrich, and Shirley Rodi. Albert retired from The Port of New Orleans, Harbor Police Department after thirty-one years of service. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff at AmeraCare Homehealth and Hospice for their care and compassion when it was needed most. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church, 2320 Paris Rd., Chalmette, LA 70043 on Thursday, February 11, 2021. Visitation begins at 1:00 PM, Words of Remembrance begins at 2:30 PM and Mass starts at 2:45 PM. In lieu of flowers the family is requesting Masses said in memory of Albert.
