Adrian Lahteine Obituary
Adrian Alexander Lahteine, Jr. passed away on Tuesday, January 30, 2018, at his home in Covington, LA at the age of 74.
Adrian was the loving husband of Brenda Bosak for 35 years.
Adrian was born in Hyannis, MA and was a resident of Covington for 38 years.
Adrian was a co-founder of the Woodwright Shop, Covington from 1987 to 2002. Adrian was a Master Carpenter and a millwright. He learned his skills by working with his grandmother building houses on Cape Cod. He designed the wood work in Copeland’s, Friends on the Lake, Mortin’s Seafood to name a few. His work can be seen everywhere and will last a lifetime. Adrian was also a designer and an inventor. He loved sailing on his own sailboat that he built and speed skating at the John F. Kennedy ice rink in Hyannis, MA. Adrian was also instrumental in the formation of the Madisonville Wooden Boat Festival in Madisonville.
Adrian was the son of the late Adrian Alexander Lahteine and Lillian A. Lahteine.
Private services will be held by the family at a later time. Arrangements entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, Covington, LA.
