John C. Simoneaux

John Carl Simoneaux passed away on Wednesday August 9, 2017 at his residence in Covington, at the age of 60. He was born in Gretna, LA, and was a resident of Covington, LA. John enjoyed outdoor activities. He was a hard worker and was very proud to be a member of the Plumbers and Steamfitters Local Union 60 and worked for Lou-Con, Inc., for many years. John was the loving husband of Loren Hathcox Simoneaux for seventeen years. Father of John Christopher (Cynthia) Simoneaux, Zach Lee (Kelly) Simoneaux, Joshua Keith Jones, Jared Duran (Brittany) Jones and Miah Taylor. Grandfather of seven grandchildren William, Gray, Layla, Riley, Alannah, Mason and Rebecca. Brother of Peter (Virginia) Simoneaux, Carroll (Jane) Simoneaux, Barbara S. Carrier and the late Oran J. Carrier, Ann S. (Rayland P.) Carriere, Pearl S. Falcon, Lois S. (Servio) De Matteo and Theresa (Ralph) De Matteo, Sr. Survived by four nephews and nine nieces. Son of the late Edward W. “Pete”, and Pearl Agnes Martinez Simoneaux, Sr., of Gretna, LA. Preceded in death by his oldest brother Edward W. Simoneaux, Jr. and two nephews Peter, Jr. and Paul.
